Salvador Dali

* * *

Seeing the photos taken by Pierre Argillet during a trip to Kathmandu, Dalí decided to illustrate some subjects around the flower power movement growing up at this time. In the meanwhile, the Master, always inclined to «shock the bourgeois», is delighted to surround himself and show himself with a youth free of all constraints and tasting artificial paradises. We find this freedom in the eleven illustrations of this series, in which the subject and the movement are treated only by a few pure and essential lines, without any frills.
