In most dictionaries, "Les Enfeus"
are defined as flat-grounded funerary alcoves that are often
founded in church walls and functioned to hours tombs. It
was in Brittany that Jean-Michel FICHOT first became fascinated
with "Les Enfeus" wich in Fichot's work evoke
Thanatos thus suggesting pain, suffering and death.
